Lembah Harau

Continuing my post about my travel experience to Bukittinggi earlier this month, I went to another interesting place on my second day. It's great that I found super delicious local food on the second day, though it was not a pleasant experience due to several reasons... (I am going to share it real soon!)

I woke up around 6 a.m. that day and I strolled around the hotel before I went to the restaurant to have breakfast. It's too bad that the weather was misty and foggy so I couldn't get clear picture about the scenery. I'm going to let the picture speak for itself!

[New Sunday Brunch] Scusa (Intercontinental Hotel, Jakarta)

by 8:08:00 PM

Scusa is an Italian fine-dining restaurant located at Intercontinental Hotel at Midplaza. If you are a loyal reader of Soompeat, you might recall that I have reviewed this place once back then. My last visit to Scusa was around last April to try the food made by their new executive chef, Chef Gianluca Visciglia from Milan. (you can read it here!) Apparently, they just launched the new concept of Sunday Brunch which is a unique combination of Italian fine-dining and family buffet concept.

Gadang House

(Hello guys!)

If you follow my instagram, I bet you must have known that I just came back from my trip to Bukittinggi, West Sumatra. It was my first visit to Bukittinggi and I am  satisfied because I have encountered many breathtaking scenery and great food which I'm going to share real soon! (I will split my travel experience into 3 posts)

In order to reach Bukittinggi, you can take any flight to Minangkabau International Airport, Padang and then you have to take bus for around 4 hours. You might spot a lot of Gadang House (traditional house of Minangkabau) during your trip to Bukittinggi and beautiful scenery which consists of hills, mountain and forest. I'll let the picture speak for itself!
